2023 saw the launch of some of GCSEN's most ambitious projects to date: The National Center for Veteran Ventures and the associated TV show, Veteran's Playbook. And we still have 4P Entrepreneurship education programs running at SUNY New Paltz, LeMoyne College, and University of the Virgin Islands! We appreciate your help to keep up the momentum and hope we can continue to work together in 2024!
The National Center for Veteran Ventures will bring GCSEN's 4P Social Entrepreneurship programs to a vital audience: local veterans. We have developed programs that can help transitioning service members and vets learn how to launch their own ventures or discover their perfect careers as they go from being America's heroes to becoming our Economic Heroes!
Please join us to help us get the program operating by donating today! We now have a year end matching program through an anonymous donor who will match up to $10,000 in donations, through January 31, 2024!
THANK YOU!
Thanks to you and your support, GCSEN has had a wild and wonderful year!
This year we certified over 150 students and adult learners in 4P Social Entrepreneurship (for People Planet Profit Place), moved our office, and expanded our global footprint*, all while launching our first television show, Veteran's Playbook! So far, we've aired 11 episodes on Discovery's Destination America channel. Each episode showcases the compelling story of a U.S. Veteran entrepreneur and their unique life, career, and venture.
Of course, this year we also continued relationships with alumni from as long ago as our very first Wheaton College Boot Camp! We were glad to welcome program graduates Zara Salmon (Wheaton '18) and Jason Reuben (Babson College ’07) to our Board of Directors, and had help from alumni Heather Rotman and Kyle McNicoll at our Premiere Gala Celebration. Soon we hope to welcome back graduate Cole Paul (Wheaton '23) to our team. Our door is always open to graduates for career coaching, graduate school references, and professional opportunities, for lifetime alumni support.
*With GCSEN Caribbe's University of the Virgin Islands Center for Excellence in Leadership & Learning and GCSEN Ireland's Atlantic Technological University (Donegal) and University of Ulster (Belfast), as well as GCSEN USA's LeMoyne College Madden School of Business and SUNY New Paltz Business School, and now with 1,200 4P Social Entrepreneur graduates in 14 countries, we are all working together to move the world to a better place!
